- Cisco Anytime Connect For Mac
How To Steps:
On our Cisco ASA it is configured to deploy Cisco Any Connect to several plataforms. One of these is the MAC plataform. When 'MAC clients' connect to the VPN for first time (need to install the Cisco Any Connect), always appear the message (view attached file). We tried with Cisco Any Connect versions. Mac OS 10.14, 10.15, and 11 (Big Sur) will warn you that the Cisco software is trying to load an extension (it might be a kernel extension or a system extension, depending on your OS and the Cisco version). In either case you need to approve this in order for the VPN software to work correctly. Cisco AnyConnect is the recommended VPN client for Mac. The built-in VPN client for Mac is another option but is more likely to suffer from disconnects. So for each time you connect you got to the direct url link for your anyconnect, it will use the anyconnect client off the mac and connect using the cert in the browser. You can then close the browser, but if you disconnect the client the only way to reconnect is to use the browser again. Download this app from Microsoft Store for Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Team (Surface Hub), HoloLens, Xbox One.
